Our Center for Education and Careers specializes in education and workforce-related program initiatives for the government and private sectors. A customer-oriented, quality-driven approach guides all of the Center's services.
We manage and support education and workforce-related program initiatives for the U.S. Department of Education, the U.S. Department of Labor, and the private sector. Our technical assistance, information dissemination, research and analysis, information technology, and communications services are customer-oriented, quality-driven and have a decidedly private-sector approach.
Technical Assistance Our technical assistance covers the gamut: day-to-day office support is a constant. But so is facilitating groups or teams at intense strategic planning sessions, providing content expertise, organizing and managing projects and events, and working with federal grantees to meet their program implementation goals. We help clients build local capacity by responding directly to market needs.
Information Dissemination When our analysts disseminate information, it imparts knowledge. Some call it knowledge management; to us it is customized service. Each Web site, publication, report, brochure, and instructional guide is created with a user in mind. The information is smart, clear, to the point and filled with contacts, models, recommended resources, and examples of peer connections to facilitate local and state system building, where applicable.
Clients We serve a diverse range of clients through the Center for Education and Careers. At the Department of Education, we support the efforts and initiatives of America's Career Resource Network, National School-to-Work Office, New American High Schools and the Office of Vocational and Adult Education. We also provide technical assistance and disseminate information for the Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Office of Youth Services, Job Corps and Juvenile Justice. Beyond our work for the federal government, our analysts also coordinate initiatives for National Association of Workforce Boards and The Pell Institute. |
