DTI, a Haverstick company, maintains the Dryden Flight Research Center (DFRC) for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Dryden is located at Edwards Air Force Base in California at the western edge of the Mojave Desert. DFRC is NASA's premier site for flight research and testing and occupies approximately 880 acres of Edwards. Facilities include office buildings, warehouses, aircraft hangars, laboratories, computer rooms, industrial shops, cafeteria, roads, parking areas, taxiways, and storage facilities.
Our technicians and professional staff complete all scheduled and unscheduled facilities maintenance at the center. Maintenance is performed on HVAC systems, electrical systems and equipment, mechanical systems, plumbing, and compressed air equipment. We provide planning services for maintenance and construction projects, perform construction, manage other contractors, and execute the reliability-centered maintenance program at the center. We also record all maintenance actions in the computerized maintenance management system, MAXIMO. Our maintenance responsibilities are 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
