Service Overview
The unique Haverstick Government Solutions VAST service incorporates state-of-the-art commercial products, proprietary tools, and modifications to both commercial products and tools from the underground. No assessment team has a more complete tool kit. Haverstick Government Solutions’ professionals test the internal network, hosts and server, the perimeter network (including firewalls, Web servers, etc.), and dial-in or remote-access servers (RAS). We also pay special attention to identifying any system “back doors” or rogue connection.
At the completion of the engagement, clients receive work files and detailed analysis reports enabling them to initiate immediate corrective actions. VAST tests all four layers of the Intrusion Management model (Avoidance, Assurance, Detection, and Recovery)—the process is standards-based with emphasis on the Common Criteria and processes outlined in ISOMEC 17799.
